I am working closely with the Foreign Office following the devastating floods in Nepal.
I met the Emergency Response Minister to raise the concerns of residents who are worried about friends and relatives in Nepal.
The local British Nepalese Community is living through the most terrible situation and our hearts go out to them at this very difficult time.
Nepal has always been there for Britain and Britain is now there for Nepal. The UK is providing £5 million of aid and the two Governments and military personnel are working very closely with one another. I am proud that Britain is the second biggest donor to Nepal.
