Thanks to everyone who has already taken the time to complete my impact survey on the closure of Henley Road Post Office.
Today I held a meeting with an External Affairs Manager at the Post Office to discuss the closure, and to find out what steps the Post Office is taking to restore services in this area.
I was pleased to hear that the Post Office recognises the concerns of local residents and that it is actively seeking new partners in the immediate area to host a new Post Office Local branch.
I have offered my support to the Post Office to promote its search for applicants who may want to run a Post Office. For those interested, the details of this opportunity can be found here:
