Extend the right to a mould free home to private sector renters

Everyone deserves to live in a #MouldFreeHome, that’s why I’m backing the Private Member’s Bill brought forward by my colleague Fleur Anderson MP to extend Awaab’s Law to private sector accommodation.

Awaab’s Law requires social housing landlords to follow strict guidelines on the repair of damp and mould. The Private Member’s Bill seeks to ensure private renters have the same protection.
