I’m urging the Government to do more to help residents and I am calling for more investment in:
-Flood prevention, including natural measures such as changing land use upstream as well as flood defence schemes
-More information on the dynamic situation, including up to date information on which areas are at risk and how to protect people and property.
-More support through improved insurance, and, above all, for the Government to do much more to tackle climate change.
