I am really proud that Reading is home to one of the best annual music festivals, but the increase in spiking incidents at festivals is something we should all be concerned about.

The police work really hard to keep these festivals safe but there is more that we can do.

On Monday, I asked the Home Office Minister to take a particular interest in spiking offences at music festivals because we must make sure those attending these events are safe.
