Research by the Labour Party has shown that, on average, almost 1500 people in Reading are waiting more than a month to see a GP.

Access to GPs is a vital pathway to receiving treatment for a whole range of illnesses.

Labour would train up a new generation of GPs and nurse practitioners and guarantee patients the ability to see their doctor when they need them.
