We’re just over half way through national volunteer week which runs every year from the 1st June to the 7th June.

Its a chance to celebrate and thank those who use some of their time and skills to put something back into their communities.

Whether it is as a school governor, volunteering with a local charity or supporting your residents group or neighbourhood litter pick teams, so many people are helping make Reading, Woodley and Earley a better place.

If you have a couple of hours a week and want to volunteer somewhere, please take a look at the organisation below who can help find the volunteer placement that is right for you.
