I visited the Citizens Advice in Parliament this week to support the excellent work that they do to help so many people in Reading and Woodley.

Their main focus is currently the Cost of Living crisis and the figures they gave me paint a stark picture.

In the Reading East Constituency:

69% of people seeking help are women

49% have a disability or long term health condition

1/4 people have mental health problems

Needing advice on debt support is up 178%

Total demand for help up 10%
