I had a fantastic time at the march to Reading Gaol today. Thank you to everyone who took part, and to the team at Save Reading Gaol for all their work coordinating the march.

10 years on since Reading Gaol was mothballed, and we’re still waiting for this building to be unlocked for the benefit of our town.

The size of today’s march shows just how important this building still is – I will continue to push for the Gaol to be a hub for arts and heritage in Reading.
