Across the country, union members are driving our buses, teaching our children, looking after our sick and elderly family members, running our trains, keeping us and our country safe, protecting our environment and keeping us all connected through post and telephones.

Being in a trade union is the best way of protecting your rights at work and drive up wages, terms and conditions, and help create an economy that is fairer for all!

This week, I celebrate and congratulate Trade Unions on the work they do and would say to everyone in work…if you are not already a member, join a union.
