Earlier this year the Chancellor stood on his doorstep and clapped for key workers. Yesterday, the Government instituted a pay freeze for many of them. Photocalls aren’t enough. Labour has been clear about the responsible choices we want – to recover jobs, retrain workers and rebuild businesses.
