I visited Sadaka to learn more about the work they’re doing to help people in desperate need. Sadaka is a charity for the homeless based in Reading with an ethos of giving without judgement or bias. It provides food, clothes and basic household items to people in need, and it supports other organisations which work to prevent or relieve poverty.

Sadaka’s meal service on Saturdays is now takeaways only, from 12noon till 12.45pm outside the Fairview Community Centre in Great Knollys Street.
