Being safe on public transport is an important way to help combat the spread of the Coronavirus. Reading Buses was one of the first companies to introduce exact fares to reduce the need for coins to be passed from driver to passenger. I’m calling for cash handling to end on buses, through the expansion of exact fares policies and contactless payment.
