It’s inspiring to see the work happening across Reading, Caversham and Woodley to combat the Coronavirus. From volunteer groups organising deliveries and checking in on vulnerable people, to artwork supporting our health service and key workers, to the manufacture of vital PPE, our community is pulling together. In the spotlight today, schools in Berkshire and Oxfordshire have been producing PPE gear:

Leighton Park School, Denefield School, Edgbarrow School, Prospect School, Reading Blue Coats, Shiplake College, Holme Grange School, The Forest School, Brackenhale School, Waingels College, The Bulmershe School, Luckley House, Warriner School, Little Heath, Ranelagh and St Joseph’s College are using their design technology classrooms to manufacture face shields for our health workers. Thank you all for your valuable work👏
