It was great to join with Plastic Free Caversham today for their campaign to reduce single use plastic packaging. The ‘Mass Unwrap’ at Waitrose in Caversham showed me just how many items are packaged in unneccesary plastic. If we are to reduce the level of plastic in our oceans, we must use far fewer single-use plastic items. Thank-you to Cllr Ayo Sokale and Plastic Free Caversham for raising awareness locally.
