Matt Rodda Member of Parliament for Reading East

I have written to the Secretary of State for Health, Matt Hancock MP, asking for the Government to commit to action on pancreatic cancer.
I was shocked to learn this week that 70% of patients who are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer receive no treatment. The Government must accede to the demand for faster access to treatments for pancreatic cancer patients – which would radically enhance chances of surviving this terrible disease.
In the 2015 Manifesto The Labour Party set out a Cancer Strategy for England which we would deliver in full by 2020, helping 2.5 million people living with cancer.
