‘I am really worried, and saddened, by news that chemicals in Britain’s seas are leading to the extinction of native killer whale populations – as well as threatening our seal populations.

I am worried about the impacts of climate change and the degradation of biodiversity: both in the UK, and globally.

I have written to Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs. I want him to push the environmental agenda: making Britain a world leader, in advance of the crucial 2020 UN climate summit.’
