Muscular Dystrophy UK’s campaign aims to ensure access to mental health support is available to people with muscle-wasting conditions.

Matt said: “Having spoken to people at the event about their experiences, the current provision does not appear to meet the need of individuals and their families. Mental health support has been an increasingly prominent issue in recent times, and it’s important that people with muscle-wasting conditions and their families are able to access it. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and I hope the recommendations in the report will result in improvements.”
