Matt Rodda MP met with National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) in Parliament to find out more about the key issues affecting people with both rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in Reading East, including the impact of their disease on emotional health and well-being.

Matt said, “I was pleased to show my support for NRAS in supporting the 400,000 people in the UK that are affected by RA, and the 1 in 10,000 children that are affected by JIA.”

“It’s important to raise awareness that living with rheumatoid arthritis can impact on mental health in a variety of ways and that people affected receive the psychological support they need.”
