Matt Rodda MP attended an event in Parliament to learn more about how polluted air is damaging children’s health.

At the event, supported by British Lung Foundation and Client Earth, Matt heard from parents calling for a Clean Air for Children Programme to tackle harmful and illegal levels of air pollution around schools, nurseries and playgrounds.

The parent-led programme calls for emergency measures to protect children and babies’ lungs from illegal and harmful levels of air pollution where they learn and where they play.

Matt said: “Air pollution is a serious risk to children’s health in Reading East and across the country, and it is important to learn more about its effects and how to tackle that problem.”
