READING EAST MP Matt Rodda welcomed Swedish telecommunications firm Ericsson to Reading following the recent announcement of their relocation of its UK headquarters to Thames Tower in the heart of Reading town centre.

He said:
“I’m very pleased that Ericsson is moving its headquarters to Reading, bringing more jobs and business opportunities to the town.

“It is also good to see a major firm relocating to the area near the station, in the run up to Crossrail coming to Reading, the new link has the potential to attract a lot more employers to Reading and to drive regeneration of this part of the town centre and the area off the Vastern and Caversham Roads.”
