Matt Rodda was delighted to attend a presentation at St. Joseph’s College recently. The event was hosted by WYRE, a young enterprise company set up by Sixth Form students of the Reading-based independent college.

The business enterprise formed part of the students’ Business Studies A-Level qualification, and focused on the selling electronic of goods at competitive prices, combined with an electronic equipment recycling service.

After the presentation a brief ‘Q&A’ session followed, which saw WYRE’s Managing Director Alex Berry facing some tough questions from Matt Rodda MP and Reading’s Sir John Madejski.

Matt said:

“I was pleased to attend the presentation by these budding business entrepreneurs from St. Joseph’s College. The passion and energy for their enterprise really shone through in their speeches and commitment to their company. I think we have a lot to learn from these students – after all, they are our business leaders of tomorrow.”
