Matt Rodda Labour MP for Reading Central
The Nepali community in Reading invited Matt to be their guest of honour at a BBQ evening on the Thames waterside in Reading on Saturday 17 June 2017.
Matt said of his visit: “It was a great opportunity to talk to some of the members of our Nepali community about matters which concern them the most. I very much look forward to working with them further on the issues they have raised with me, including Brexit . It was a pleasure and an honour to be invited to this event, and to be able to listen to the needs of my constituents.” There are over 50,000 Nepal-born people living in the UK, of which Reading has a community of over 2,000; the third largest in the country.
