Manifesto 2015

Ed Miliband has launched our election manifesto. It’s a manifesto for the working people of Britain: a plan to secure the nation’s finances so we can reward hard work, share prosperity and improve family finances.

This manifesto is our commitment to make Britain better for you, for your family, for your community.

You can open or download the manifesto here

Every commitment is fully costed - there will be no extra borrowing, no rise in VAT and no rise in National Insurance. Our policies include:

✔ Securing the nation’s finances by reducing the deficit every year.
✔ Raise the minimum wage to more than £8 by October 2019.
✔ Freeze rail fares....
✔ A ban on exploitative zero hour contracts.
✔ To cut business rates helping small and Medium sized businesses.
✔ Cut Tuition Fees from £9,000 to £6,000.
✔ To scrap the 'non-dom' tax status.
✔ Scrap the Bedroom Tax.
✔ Introduce a National Primary Childcare Service.
✔ Protecting Tax Credits for Working Families.
